"TRASH" INSTALLATIONS

From 2018-2022, Abigail researched the potential for non-recyclable plastics to be used as durable art materials. She would use various techniques, including heat, cutting, and sewing, to transform "trash" and demonstrate that it does, actually, still have value.

In the photos below, she worked mainly with two materials: grain bags from Creature Comforts Brewery (white with flashes of color), & chip bags found in trash cans and on the side of the road (silverly, textured pieces).
